Salang Bato is a ''barangay'' in Famy, Philippines. Salang Bato is one of twenty ''barangays'', the smallest unit of governance with the Philippines. It is a toehold of land, southwest of Luzon island in the Laguna Province and is near the Laguna de Bay. It has an altitude of . The English translation from Tagalog is "Salang Rock" or "Rock of Salang." It was named after nomadic seafarers called Salang, an ancient Eurasian ethnicity. The ''barangay'' of Salang Bato is governed by a council of 8, consisting of one chair and 7 council members. The current chair is Oscar A. Martin.
